Steampunk began in 2012 from the back of a classic VW camper van which we used to bring our coffee to markets, festivals and other events. We roasted coffee on a Probat in our garage back then but in 2014 established our roastery (and a busy cafe) in an old warehouse building by the sea in North Berwick. In 2023 the old Probat was replaced by a new Diedrich roaster on which we roast our specially selected coffees in small batches.

We think it is fair to say we understand the challenges of running a hospitality business and in addition to our roasting expertise that helps us to be a supportive supply partner.
