A classic Brazilian coffee made for milky espresso drinks: nutty, chocolatey, full bodied and sweet.

Recommended Retail Price: £9/250g

We love to explore the full delicious spectrum of flavours specialty coffee has to offer, but we also know there’s a time and a place for a mug of something easy and familiar. This is a seasonal, single-origin fully traceable Brazil with an easy drinking profile: nutty, chocolatey, mellow, sweet and full bodied. It’ll be an easy dial-in and a crowd pleaser with or without milk.

Tasting Notes: A hallmark Brazilian coffee: milk chocolate dominates, along with roasted nuts and brown sugar. It’s low on acidity and high on sweetness with a creamy, mouth-filling body.

Producer: Luan Pereira dos Santos
Region: Minas Gerais

This is a clean, sweet Brazilian coffee that’ll work great brewed as an espresso but is also a solid choice for your morning coffee in whatever brew method you prefer. Adding milk will heighten all its best attributes making it even more creamy and sweet.

Like our previous three Brazilian lots before it, this coffee was grown in the magnificent Serra da Mantiqueira, an area famous for producing excellent coffees. The family farm, Alegria, is the Spanish word meaning “joy”. Luan Pereira dos Santos is a 20-year-old specialty coffee producer, and runs the farm with his fiance Gabriela Cristy. Both Gabriela and Luan hail from families of coffee producers.

Sitio Alegria is located in the picturesque town of Lambari, in Minas Gerais, a region renowned for its natural sparkling mineral waters. The farm benefits from an ideal climate and soil for growing high quality beans. The altitude, which ranges from 1,100 to 1,300 metres and is relatively high for a Brazilian coffee farm, contributes to the production of exceptional coffee. Generally, the higher the altitude the sweeter and more complex the coffee beans. Luan and Gabriela offer a wide variety of coffees, processed in different ways from natural to fermented and exotic, catering to a diverse range of palates.
